The output is a PNG, not a JPG
JPG has no transparency, so a cut-out saved as JPG comes back with a white box behind it. Convert afterwards only if you are adding a solid background.
Busy backgrounds are the hard case
A subject against a similar colour, or behind glass or fine mesh, is where any matting model struggles. A plainer background gives a cleaner edge.
Your file is deleted when you are done
The upload is removed once your download finishes. It is not kept, not indexed, and never used to train anything.
