It cannot recover what was never captured
Blown highlights and crushed shadows hold no data to restore. Enhancement improves what is there; it does not invent a better exposure.
Compression artefacts are treated separately
Blocking from a heavily compressed JPG is smoothed before sharpening, so the result does not simply make the artefacts crisper.
Your file is deleted when you are done
The upload is removed once your download finishes. It is not kept, not indexed, and never used to train anything.
No account, no watermark
